Love, Passion and the Art of Romance

The work began with a drawing from life of a couple with whom I was acquainted.  This drawing was then transferred in pencil to a piece of Arches watercolor paper.  The drawing was then done over in ink and finally watercolored in.  I was attempting to deal with the universal need for human contact and our difficulty in achieving it.
