Love, Passion and the Art of Romance

Dream images speak to me deeply.  I’ve been very aware of the power of representational images ever since I realized my dreams were never abstract, that they always came to me in recognizable natural forms.  My paintings seek to evoke the power of dreaming.  The paintings track the imagery as it flees away into the unconscious (as Freud once described our waking).  Calling the dream imagery back from the unconscious, the painting creates a vision on the picture plane.
